| Its quite a common symptom that has passed through other clubs. Its called the Richard Agar effect. Where talent is coached out of the window.

| He never wanted to leave Cas.
He was forced into going due to Cas needing the cash.
Rumour I heard was Warrington were trying to get out of the deal but Cas couldn't find the cash to pay back to Warrington, that and the fact he was absolutely on fire last year.

| He plays off the back of a quick PTB and with the gash wire forwards he's struggling.
Really poor squad management has brought warrington to the depths they're at now. Looking at their squad I'd say only hill, clark and maybe monaghan would be wanted by any of the other teams in the top 8. Decent players have left and not been replaced

This is the thing though - Cas didn't exactly have the greatest pack last year but he used to produce that little bit of magic play out of nowhere. I just don't understand how that talent can disappear.

Cas finished 4th on the ladder and got to wembley last year. Their pack was fine. wire look likely to finish outside the 8 this year unless they have a miraculous upturn in form and only have 1 decent forward. cam smith would struggle to shine in that team

| I’m personally disappointed that Warrington have failed to kick on, I was hoping another club could win the G.F rather than the usual suspects.
I enjoyed watching their style of play, but after tonight’s game they looked decidedly mediocre.
The failure to replace Briers with a class halfback looks to be a massive factor, but they look a jaded outfit all across the park.
I have the utmost respect for Tony Smith however, I think it’s time for a change, it looks like he’s taken the club as far as he can & it looks a little stale.
As for Daz Clark, it just looks to be a bad fit, he’s joined a team that’s on the wane, ironically leaving a team on the up.
Perhaps Moran should invest in getting Powell to steer the ship rather than the latest new kid on the block to pull on the primrose & blue.

| To clear up the Wire tried backing out/ Cas couldn't afford to rumour.
Daz was sat down, Cas offered wire their money back plus compensation which they agreed to accept begrudgingly. And Daz a monster payrise to stay. But. He still wanted to go as he thought it'd get him to the NRL quicker.

can't argue with any of that. Big re-build required.

Their last four games are at home to Saints and Wigan and away to Cas and Wakey.
The Wakefield should provide them with 2 points but they could do wih winning one of those tough other 3 games otherwise it'll be squeaky bum time and they'll have to hope HKR or Widnes don't win 3 out of their remaining 5 games.
Monaghan's last second try to get them the win vs Widnes the other month could be the difference between them being in the Top 8 rather than Middle 8.

Agent Agar working quicker than even Agent Harris at Bradford did.
It's a warning to anyone who beats Leeds in a cup final.
Revenge comes in many forms.

As a Wakefield fan i am not suprised you would want Powell to leave us
Warrington face a big re-build,it happened at other successful clubs like Wigan,Leeds & Saints and now they will have to take their medicine for a while until it happens.
The appointment of Agar is the strangest thing i have seen in RL for the last few years, didn't anybody at Warrington not see what a mess he left behind at Hull,Wakefield & the French national side?

The rumour mill saying that Tony Smith is on his bike if Warrington don't make the 8 this year.

| This is Warringtons year! It's all you ever hear from certain sections and particular posters on this forum.
Quite what makes Warringtons year is up for debate, but RL silverware isn't on the table that's for sure.

I’m not an archetypal Wakefield fan when it comes to Cas, probably due to my age, it’s more a Leeds thing .
But of the current crop of coaches currently employed over here I think Powell is the best.
To be honest, unless Warrington were to offer him a mega-bucks contract, why would he?

He seems happy at the moment, could change in the future i guess.
Powell is left to do his job and appears to have a good working relationship with the C.E.O at Cas. Whether he would get that at other clubs is open to debate. I believe he had a fall out with some members of the Fev board before he left for us so how he would work with the guys at the top at any club west ot the pennies is anybodys guess?

Shenton was injured and used wrongly at St Helens.
That's why he's always been very good for Cas and more than held his own at international level - for the most part he's been at 100% fitness.
