Is it 10 minutes shorter because they've cut down the senseless blathering between Studd and Stevo?

They cut out all the "It's as simple as that" and "What do you think Stevo" so 20 minutes it was.

Maybe they've just cut out the bits when Stevo talks about Rob Burrow?

I noticed that it was shorter.

But I thought it was the most interesting one in a while. It's nice to know that there are other things going on in RL other than restructuring.

The points they made about the disciplinary were spot on.

I just really wish we could have a 'footy show' type panel show like they have in Aus.... Give the players a bit of a higher profile - let them show off their peronalities.
Over here, whenever a player is interviewed, we get the same politically correct answers that they've all been taught in their media classes.
You could have set segments that the players are invited on the show to take part in, then have ex-players/coaches on the panel regularly to discuss the latest news and goings on. This is the sort of thing where I think the likes of Carney, Mcdermott and O'Connor would excel.
If it's done right, it would get a bit of a cult following - similar to what SoccerAM used to have over here. This would be a great way of reaching out to the wider public and gaining more interest in the sport.
Plus - you could then get the likes of Bradley Wiggins, Wayne Rooney and other famous RL fans onto the show to further increase interest.

Funnily enough, I've been calling myself names for not checking the time it started, but it seems it wasn't me after all!

It was better when it was online/podcast only and ran for 30-40 minutes.

Re the footy show, I wouldn't be surprised if Boots n All was relaunched next year. They used to do the funny stuff but it seems to have got a bit wet to say the least over the past few years.

Apparently Stevo wants to do Back Chat in front of an audience each week, I think that would be a good idea though like with BBC Question Time an audience can often ruin it.

Isn't the studio in Middlesex?

I'm sure there are quite few RL fans around there but you're hardly going to get a mixed audience. Maybe they could move it around the country, just as Question Time does.

In front of an audience would be great I think. Take it on the road to every SL club and let season ticket holders be part of the audience. Allows the club to make some money on the night too by selling drinks/food etc.

Have CURRENT SL players/coaches and journalists on a panel with Studd as the presenter.

At the minute it's pretty dull and is not on for long enough.

Agree that would be good, the current show is, I'm pretty sure, cheaper to put out as it is, which might be a bigger attraction to Sky..

Wrong I have never claimed benefits in my life I am 66 yrs old and get 2 pensions which I worked for and paid for so this government will not allow me to claim benefits because I did work all my life not like some and I was brought up in hull but do not live their any more

You do know east and west hull have the same education system don't you?

Back on topic, we are now well in overkill for RL shows down under. Think we have five or six now! They all talk about the same topics.

That alters the economics a bit, though 'spose I should have guessed with the journos being northern based.
