Bosnich grew up in Sydney, so chances are he played at some point. He won't be totally clueless.

Good for him but he did play as a goalie. Soccer, in general, is a "soft sport" but goalies are anything but soft.

Not sure I'd want to play in a game involving El Masri and Stacey Jones though.

I don't know about his physical ability, but I bet he can take a high ball.

We had a goalkeeper join my team 2 years ago...took a while to train him in the nuances of RL (kind of an ongoing task!), but he can take a high ball like no-one I've seen and now often occupies the full-back position.

I didn't notice if this was mentioned earlier. But Bosnich was on a question of sort once and they had asked him if he played League growing up and he said that he had. But his mum had convinced him to play soccer instead because she didn't want him breaking his nose. (or something like that)
