As a neutral I am looking forward to this game, I am interested to see the wire over 80 minutes with a full 13, as I thought they could have beaten Wigan last week? I have tipped Saints by 1 score.

Early days yet but haven't seen anything to stop saints from where they left off last season unfortunately.

I am looking forward to this weeks interpretation of laying on, playing fhe ball etc.

(who am I kidding, the interpretation changes from one set of six to the next, let alone period of 24 hours!

Lets see how many genuine attempts to the play the ball take place within the first 5 mins today.

Be lucky if their are 10.

Saints win. We only beat them when it counts.

I can see Warrington doing ok tonight. They had a tough first game whilst we had a training game so they will be more battle hardened

Looking forward to it. Saints are the standard, but have a few missing. Maybe have an eye on the WCC.

Looking forward to seeing Welsby play. And Ashton for that matter, two exciting prospects.

I wouldn't be putting any money on it, but I sneakily fancy Warrington tonight. They were very good last week and would have won handily if not for the red card imo. Saints were good too, but Salford offered very little, I just think Warrington might catch them out.

Although what I would prefer is a big Saints win tonight and a big Hull win tomorrow, setting up a mouthwatering clash next week.

Did Saints only use 21 players in the 2003 season?

I tried to Google it. Poor example really when they won nothing due to injuries and were 13 points off top spot.

Cannot stand Wilkin. Such a lazy choice as guest by sky or the super league show when he's on that. Chats absolute nonsense. Tries making himself sound intellectual by adding bigger words with no relevance.

In 2003 St Helens had a squad of 31 players of which 27 players appeared in at least 1 game. 3 of those 27 players played once. Another played 2 times.

So if you give Wilkin the benefit of iffy memory, they had 23 players who played a decent amount of games. But 27 actually took the field at least once. Some of those may have been CC games where Wilkin may only be counting SL...

He has a degree in English, hence the over the top eloquent wording.
