Paul McShane is a huge miss for Cas, which probably means the pies will win this one.

Would not be surprised if Cas won, even without McShane the Jungle is a reyt old,horrible place for visiting teams.

I dunno, Cas didn't have much last week but generally Wigan haven't either so far this season.
I'm thinking its gonna be a wrassel-a-thon, the winner of that battle takes the points.
Cas aren't bad in a wrassel-a-thon and Wigan aren't free scoring geniuses, I don't see the pies as shoe-ins.

That lad Egodo is having an absolute shocker at right centre. At fault for all three tries.

Seems to be an evolution of the game this season where the team that is on top for a period is able to rack up a few tries. Are teams attacks more potent or more expansive this year?

Cas are a steaming pile of vile mash potato at the minute but Liam watts is different bisto.

We have no right hand side. We currently have no left hand side either as Shenton and Eden look like they can't be bothered. Shocking watching. We are drab and lucky we won 5 early games as we ain't going to win nothing for a while

They’ve still got a bit about them in attack and Wigan have had to come up with some good defence to stop Cas scoring more, but that right hand defence for Cas is really bad. I know it’s saying something for a Leeds fan given we’ve had the likes of Lolohea and Watkins struggle badly in defence this year but I think that opening 40 mins by Egodo has to be the worst individual defensive performance of the season. All 5 Wigan tries he has fault in either with falling off or missing a tackle and the one where he went for the intercept and missed it.

Hopefully Powell and Noel Gallagher can change things at half time for Cas.

I think he’s more Liam than Noel.

Egodo is still getting used to the pace of Super League.

Just me or was that video ref decision super quick? There was zero evidence the ball was grounded on two quick looks.

Looks a decent attendance.

They did that last for HKR first try, one single look and done. Now it did look a try but it also looked like a different angle would’ve given you more conclusive proof. If that’s a new thing the refs have introduced to be quicker then fair play if they keep it up, just a noticeable change from previously when even obvious decisions were viewed 3/4 times from a couple of angles.

TBF that’s because you aren’t winning any collisions in this half. Cas are simply running harder and faster this half.
