Not looking for cheap. Just looking for decent seats not on the back row in the top stand (which is all that's left).

Do what I did. I wanted 2 tickets for upper tier as far forward as possible. Added 2 to cart for row 10. Not happy. Added 2 more, row 9... So added 2 more, row 7.... Ended up with 28 tickets in my cart but got row 1 in the end
Deleted the other 26. Happy days.

About a thousand left by all accounts. So, we've sold 24,000 tickets in 5 days - not bad by my reckoning for a small town in Wakefield / Leeds.

Where does that figure come from? Club allocations are usually around 12,000-15,000.

Each club allocation is circa 10,000 although this can be increased or decreased as required.
These areas are then marked as sold, so are greyed out or marked in red. If tickets are returned those areas are again open for sale. Hence why the Cas end which once was marked out as sold has now quite a few sections for sale.

We were sent 22,000 originally on Friday and asked for a further 3,000 when they were sold.

Not sure your figures are correct pal. Stretford end doesn't hold 25,000.

More like 15k sold through the club. (Pretty much sold out now. Only a few left) asked for an extra 3000.

Plus many have bought through the RFL site direct like me. It showed as sold out a couple of days ago like the Leeds side has. Then all of a sudden spaces came available so not sure what's going on. Come Saturday it will be sold out.

I can assure you those figures are grossly exaggerated.
Castleford's initial allocation was less than 10,000

As posted earlier, seats are allocated to clubs, travel agencies, sponsors etc these are not available to purchase online. However, once unsold tickets are returned these areas are put on general sale. Hence the many sections now available in the Cas end.

RFL saying 1k left

Leeds end sold out on the RFL website, as you'd expect for a big club. Loads left dahn t'other end though...

In fairness to Cas they'll probably have about 60% of their entire population in the ground on Saturday. Leeds on the other hand will have less then 5% of theirs in attendance.

The only people left in Cas will be the burglars!

Im sure i read somewhere the other day that both clubs received 9000 initially and both requested more and were sent 3000 extra.

Cas have just a few left and Leeds have sold out.

That being said, there are less than 700 left this morning in the whole ground and it will only be the 2nd sell out in GF history.

90 tickets left at Cas. Confirmed this morning.

The only people left in Cas will be those with the electronic tags on their ankle's, the burglars will be in Wakey and Ponty looking for richer pickings.

Anyone know if the MUFC railway station will be open for the grand final? Northern Rail website has been saying "We will have further updates if the station will be open for this event shortly'... It's now Thursday!

Get the train to Victoria or Piccadilly in the city and then jump on the tram, which drops you off just down the road at the cricket ground.
