Well i'd say Robertson, Dorn & Kaufusi will be marquee earners. The likes of Witt, Gower, Rodney, Clubb will be on very good money. They have some very good players the Broncos this year.

Slightly more expensive to find accomodation in South West London than it is in the North. Salaries will reflect that.

I am aware of London Broncos squad for the 2012 season. I wouldnt describe it as good. The only clubs squads I would describe as good and expect to be spending at or near the full salary cap are; Warrington, Wigan, Leeds and st helens, with Catalan not too far behind. Anyone else who is spending the maximum, is clearly paying over the odds for players. If you think the Broncos players salarys should add to £1.65M, based on ability, then you must think they are title contenders?

A lot of teams in SL use the full cap, not just Warrington, Wigan, Leeds, St Helens and Catalans. Can't believe we're being slated for trying to be as competitive as possible.

Are you trying to be stupid, or just by accident?

It costs MORE to live in London. Therefore, salaries are inflated. You can't get as good a player for £100k in London than you can in Leeds. You have to pay them more to make the move.

On top of that, London are hardly a big club looking at winning things. The big clubs attract ambitious players who are willing to take a cut in salary in order to win things. Again, you'd have to pay someone more to play for London, Wakefield, Hull, etc. than you would to play for Leeds, Wigan, Saints, etc. because they have more chance in winning something.

Spending the salary cap doesn't mean you're a title contender and no-one has said that. You NEED to spend the salary cap to contend, but it doesn't mean it will happen.

Saints aren't spending to the cap this season.

Not good! You should have seen last seasons! This year's look like world beaters by comparison!

Leeds and Saints are getting great value for money, compared with the Broncos if that's the case

1.65 million doesn't get you a lot in London....certainly not as much as it gets you In St Helelns or Leeds

I remember having a beer in the pub next to KR ahead of the 2003 play-off game.,......Pint of Carlsberg Export and a large lemonade...it cost 1.85. The same drinks in the Griffin at Brentford cost 3.25 in 2003.

If London are competitive this season. Especially at Home for lots of reasons. Then spending the 1-65m will be worth it.

Only if people bother to turn up and watch them, if they don't it's hard to see where London go from there.

Most jobs that have a London weighting, its a couple of thousand pounds, it seems in RL its a couple of hundred thousand pounds



I dont buy into the idea London is a less attractive club to players, to the British players that maybe true, but super league is half made up of Aussie's, Kiwi's and pacific islander's, who would find London a much more attractive place to live than the likes of St helens, Warrington, Hull ect

Not in all cases, some players are only here for the money. If they can live cheaper up north then they'd go there.
