With the experience they are getting from covering Blue Square you'd like to think that one day they might have the equipment and expertise to make a bid fo Super League. In a competitive market we may at least get a fair price for our product.

There is still a chance of getting it if you're signed up to virgin, providing you have an old inactive sky connection and an ok'd box. Premier sports will send out a card to get you up and running.

Not getting it just for the Championship games that I rarely watched anyway. I have a subscription for livenrl.tv to keep my NRL appetite sorted.

I've heard there is a promotional code to give when you sign up to get it at a discounted rate. Does anyone know if this is true?

Not heard about that but if you nominate a CC or CC1 club when you sign up that team gets a whole £10

Had it for the NRL last year and cancelled it when the season finished... only thing is they never knocked it off and it's still there when I checked the other day.

How much is it a month and what RL does it show?

I may get rid of my movies and get it without telling the missus!!

Just checked their website and its currently £7.99 per month. Last year think they showed around 5 or 6 live NRL games a weekend with numerous replays, plus the State of Origin that SKY didn't show.

LiveNRL.com charges £8.99 per month but has a more extensive service.

1st round of NRl fixtures beginning on Thurs 1st March so will decide which service to go with by then.

It's a poor channel in my opinion.

It shows 6 games of NRL a week. Last year it usually showed the 2 Friday night games, 2 on Saturday, the Sunday Fox game and MNF. Also shows City/Country and it also says it will show 35 games of Championship Rugby this season. Sky still have SoO and the Anzac test.

If you like the NRL though the channel is great. Apart from the RL though I never turned it on.

I have it. Its well worth the price for the NRL games, now even more so for the Championship games.

I hope they start showing games in HD soon though.

I watched one of the free games last season, and the quality of footage was almost unwatchable. It looked like it was being streamed down the internet on a dial-up connection. Has it improved, cos £7.99 is a good price.

They repeat everything all the time, should be called Groundhog Channel. The quality of the pictures isn't the best & on certain other shows the dubbling is shocking. I'm not knocking their coverage of NRL but apart from that it's not worth the subscription.
