if they finish on teh same win - loss I'd agree. If they finish where the respective clubs have in the last two seasons I'd say not.

But he is registered as a Giant at Red Hall. So from the RFL pov he is one of our 'overseas' players.

I saw the Henderson was born on Torquay and didn't include him but rereading the article he is overseas trained so i edited.

Lolesi, according to everything i have read isn't playing for Hudds this year.

If your going to count Rinaldi at Wakey then you need to add Elima at Bradford.

elima is british trained coming through the academy system at castleford.

Batieri and Greenshields are French - I think Dureau may be part-french too, though I don't really care. Doesn't matter though, as Blanch should count double because he's ENGLISH!

They are not federation trained in the country where they play...therefore according to the original post.. overseas.

The games is REALLY showing it's development skills in this country.

What would the state of our game be without these imports?

There's a fine balance between bringing in imports and filling your team with them. I'm all for imports being part of our game. However, if they were drastically reduced, the talent pool and no doubt, quality, of the England side would improve. It would also allow us the depth of squad needed to offer more international friendlies throughout the season and develop the International game in our country. Sometimes you have to look at the wider picture than just inside the zone that is one's own club.
