Bailey clearly isn't popular around here (except with Leeds fans) and as a result there seems to be a lot of attempting to justify Radford's stupidity.

But does anyone else get the feeling that if the roles were reversed everyone on here would be saying how it was a well deserved red-card for a cheap-shot/sh*t-house/cowardly attack on the man on the floor...

...in fact if we're being brutally honest, perhaps if Radford was black and Bailey white a lot of those sticking up for Radford might have very different opinions...

What a stupid thing to say about skin color, the only reason Bailey gets the stick because he's a cowardly thug, but as soon as i seen it i said red card for Radford, but then also Bailey should of been yellow carded for repeatly elbowing.

I would expect Radford to get a decent ban for what he did, i would expect between 3 - 5 games and bailey to get between 1- 3

Oh I'm sure that there are probably some people who it may be true for, that's an unfortunate fact of life, but the implication that it's *mostly* to do with race I find to be somewhat distasteful...

And for the record, had the roles been reversed, I would still be of the opinion that the pair of them ought to have had a minimum of 10 minutes in the bin.

Its nothing to do with race, Radford deserved to be sent off but Bailey should have also gone off.

Never a truer word spoken. Bailey is talentless and strolled around being a thug for his entire career. Nothing to do with his colour at all. Anyone outside of Leeds would say the same. I haven't seen a mention on anythread about how well Buderus reacted to the situation. The highlights are the video site, and I thought Buderus was very good.

By the way, now that I've seen the replay, you can clearly see Bailey going for a headbutt on long. And don't tell me it wasn't serious, watch the reply (the bobbydazzler123 video on the vid site has it at 0:37) he's clearly going right for long. That's right. 6ft4 prop bailey, goes for 5ft8 scrumhalf Long. Top stuff from the man who has never been labelled a coward.

Edit, infact what seems to happen is that once Radford is being held back by Buderus, and there's a decent group around them, Bailey comes in for a swing at Radford, bus as Long/senior are in the way, he can't hit him. Radford then reacts again in retailiation to that, as Senior pushes bailey away (and basically tells him to stay out of it). Bailey then goes to nut Long, but misses, and as Long laughs in his face, and looks at Hall as if to say "what the was that about?", Bailey goes for long again, and has to be pushed away by Delany.


You guys may argue over who is at fault, and what the punishments should have been, etc, but I'm just saying this: In the 'aftermath' of the incident, Bailey acted appallingly.

Please tell me you are on the wind up? Because if you aren't what you have written and implied has to be the most ridiculous and contemptible pile of jizz it has ever been my misfortune to read. People are defending Lee Radford for one reason and one reason only and that reason is they know Ryan Bailey is the dirtiest, slyest, most horrible, odious, despicable man playing in Super league and that opinion wouldn't change if his skin colour was purple, green or pink with yellow dots! Regardless of colour Bailey is a universally disliked **** that deserves all he got and a whole lot more and that's all there is to it.
