Agreed. A part of me does wonder how different the game would have been without the two big refereeing decisions at 8-0. Wire by far the better team though. Shows how badly we are going to miss Peacock during the playoffs.

Ryan Bailey let Leeds down today with a total no show, needed to stand up and help take Leeds forward but went missing for long periods.

Leed's were terrible today, the forwards were slapped around the pitch like little girls.

You know you are in trouble when you need Bailey to do the hard yards for you. A Very good performance from Wire and in particular Briers and Hicks.

If they can keep this momentum going they will be a power for the next few years, Not something im going to look forward to as a Viking.

It was a mile forward. I said as much in the CC thread. Which is why the one at 8-0 was even more annoying. It looked like the sort of pass that is allowed to go 9 times out of 10 but Dickie pulled us up. How he missed the ball hitting Mathers I don't know. He was about 10 yards away looking straight at it. Both decisions came at a time when we were still well in the game.

I'm not taking anything away from Wire, they put us away very impressively. They were by far the better team on the day and deserved their victory.

Unless there was an opportunity for a cheap shot, then he's the first one in the queue

Excellent display from Warrington,well organized and clinical.Defence was superb,3 try saving tackles on the line and almost a fourth that nearly denied Smith.
Leeds were rubbish.

The Leeds pack were battered today, it was always going to be a tough ask without two props.

Great performance from Warrington, I thought Mathers had a good game, especially after being showed the door.

Perhaps now Warrington have made a few quid, they could get some decent shirts, ones without the letters falling off.

Warrington well deserved the win. They have a great team and squad, I just wonder how they fit all those star players under the salary cap? Answer? They probably don't.

I can't prove it. I can question it though. As have many others.

After Atkins scored the first try there was only one team in it. Their defence was the most impressive part for me with how quickly they came off the line and stopped Leeds from getting anywhere. They should have nilled Leeds as the pass for Smiths try was miles forward.

Congrats to them - a well deserved win.

I thought Riley almost gave it away and it was a crucial time in the game.

No mate i understood that, lessons in how to defend dished up for Leeds today by a better side.

Yep they were superb in defence. Though those 2 incidents happened at 8-0. One score, which the Hall one would possibly have turned into, and we were on their tails. The Riley one doesn't excuse Kirkes embarrassing attempt but it was key as we should have a new set on the Wire 20.
