As for the attendance the RFL have really lowered the prices this year and if it wasnt for my selfish GF (apparently i have to be there on her birthday

People were saying the same thing about the england v Aus game last week and from what I saw there were empty seats everywhere.

This may get a higher crowd than that game because people will think that england may be in with a genuine chance of winning

We thought they might get claustrophobic at the idea of a full stadium for an international game, given they don't see one very often back home.

yes there was quite a few empty seats i was surprised ..but 23,000 was the attendance figure given out so not that bad

Agreed, England v NZ games are far more eagerly anticipated than they used to be IMO and I guess the crowd will be up there with anything we've managed in the recent past against them.

Which, considering just how poor England have been of late, is no mean feat.

If we can get a competetive side out on the pitch, we'd draw some very good crowds.

When you have teams averaging 20,000+ fans every game in the THIRD DIVISION, then you'll start to have a point.
