Let be honest he only makes them yards because he has to. If Jamie Peacock was in this Saints team then he’d have to make all them hard yards that graham does. We’ll only ever get to see how good James Graham is if he ever gets to be in a pack that is as good as that we have at Leeds.

Till then he’s just a big fish in a little pond IMO.

roby is over rated and mcguire is a little over rated

Sinfield is a fantastic captain for the Leeds Rhinos and will put his best effort in week in, week out. When Sinfield is playing at his best he’s the best in the world at what he does. Doesn’t stand out too much but he doesn’t get creamed over by the media either.

Wellens has had a bad couple of seasons for my liking but he was at one point one of the best fullbacks in the country despite lacking pace. The sky sports team like with the rest of the saints team did cream over him a bit. He is one of the better saints players though on his day..

Burrows form in 2007 makes your statement look really silly. Man of the match performance in the grand final along with a man of the series performance against the Kiwis. He’s has injuries since then especially this year but by the sound of things Burrow could be up for with England beating the Aussies a number of times in the quad nations.


I’d have to agree with Roby after he undeservingly got the man of steel away ahead of Trent Barrett in 2007 was it? Roby seems to be getting quieter every time against Leeds and I just hope Smith chooses Diskin ahead of him in the quad nations. But I highly doubt he will.

McGuire IMO is the best stand off in the world. A once in a lifetime player that will be impossible to replace when he goes.

Roby & Graham, along with Myler are the most over rated players in Super League by some distance, I honestly don't see the hype with Graham as soon as he hits a defender he hits the deck, unless it's in the opponents 10 when he shows something because he has a chance to score. Let's not forget his dummy spits, not only against Leeds but the other year when he broke his hand punching a wall after 2 Saints players dyed his eyebrows black

Myler? Give him a chance he's been very good in a struggling team behind an often beaten pack in his 1st full SL season and has missed a large section through injury. He could turn out to be overated but surely its quite early to say he is one of the most overated players in SL?

Not really because when all you see is people saying he should play for England and the ridiculous price Warrington paid for him, and what they're rumoured to be paying him in wages all points to him at the minute being vastly over rated. Ratchford is a far better player but gets half the raps Myler does.

Calling James Graham overrated is the new fad for people who don't have a clue about the game.

I think Ratchford has consistently played better then Myler behind the same beaten pack all year but never gets a mention. Myler has been built up by the media as the next big ever since he played against Wales last year, very over rated IMO, will turn out a good player though.

Yet we have underrated ones like one time dream team member Kevin Penny whose never played for England and would work wonders for us. We’ve got too many overrated players playing for England IMO.

I’ll have you know that I’m quite knowledgeable on the game of rugby league but there’s room for me to learn as always. Just because I’m expressing an opinion of a certain player doesn’t seem to be as good as people make out he is doesn’t mean I don’t have a clue about the game.

James Graham is not good but good enough and that’s all you need in a team.

James Grahams big problem is that he comes across as a complete tw@. This is a big shame as he's actually a very good player. It's just his attitude that makes him unlikeable.

Like Wayne Roomey in football, remove that feisty streak and you half the player. Off the field, Jammer is a great lad. On the field he is a born winner. He hates to lose and hates to under perform.

Like Rooney, it is about maturing that attitude.

I dont like Graham but I would have him at Leeds in a shot. A top quality player who gives everything he has got week in week out. He may need to cool down a bit though. If he carries on like he is he will end up burnt up by the time he is 27. He hardly ever comes off, takes the ball up 2 and 3 times a set and defends like his life depends on it.

James Graham is overrated because he is effectively taking a team forward single handed and would only be tested if he was in a better pack. My god, how can the guy be overated, Damo have you seen his stats compared to any other prop in the league, he is one of the few players that will make an impact in the NRL,
