The Southern Hemisphere nations dominated the world cup. The results speak for themselves. I think the SH nations won more matches than NH by 2:1!!

The only nation competing that was not a dominion of the queen was France and they finished dead last.

NZ hosting it next and attempting to capitalise on their success would seem a logical concept. However, we all know logic doesnt sit well in RL.

Thank goodness we were there as well, at least we tried to get in to the game, most aussies seemed to be knitting or asleep for most of the game, then did the Wigan walk with 5 mins to go

The english arent gloating, only the kiwi's are gloating as they are the ones that were proven to be the best team in the world, still if your feeble attempts to wind us up makes you feel a little bit better after the defeat i suppose we should humour you.

I have talked to a hell of a lot of Kiwis about the World Cup and not one of them gloated over it.

See, gloating is a very English thing to do.

new Zealand didn't need to gloat over anything, they knew they worked hard and deserved the win in a classic game. What would gloating achieve?
