Apparently Mikolaj Oldejski (sp) will be making his debut tonight. It will make him the first Polish born player to play in SL. Just thought I'd give people the heads up because I'm sure the sky team won't shut up about it.

Cautiously optimistic as a Wire Fan, but think it could be a cricket score for one or both of the teams..

A potentially really good game being ruined by a weak ref here.

I think we need to rethink the red card because refs are terrified of using it.

I don't like saying that, especially as a biased fan, as we all are, but leeds aren't getting much. that's sport though.

What's a player got to do to get a red these days?

So a bottled red, a ridiculously one sided penalty count, an invented knock on against ratchford, a missed leeds forward pass followed by a call against a very marginal Wire one, a nonexistent tackle in the air, a call of held after the play the ball and now a try which was knocked on.

How tf was that sent up as a try? It the VR isn't there, Child overrules the TJ and awards that try. Very worrying.

i'm reallt not sure.

as someone who reffed professional football there are so many things wrong with his game. he never seems focused, the game seems to go on around him and his concentration level is awful. he never looks in control of a game, never looks assured and competant

the frustrating thing is that i think both teams have played really well. I think standard wise it has been one of the best games in SL for a while. Few mistakes, good defence, some good skill but the ref has had more influence on it than anyone.

Westwood's challenge on Sutcliffe should have been a straight red - probably saved by it been in the first minute.

id also throw out that i think Patton has played really well. Showing up some of his more experienced colleagues.
