Assuming Paul is on a fair whack, it does seem their may be some difficulties ahead.

I doubt if the RFL are going to be kind over this but as this is the RFL, as we know, anything can happen.

They are not that good at enforcing their own rules and wonder why they are not taken seriously at times.

Anyway we will probably see Leigh in the Championship come 2011

not strictly true i think in the RFL head office they have a big mock up of wheel of fortune they they turn to decide how to deal with a situation and for things that need sorting quickly and in the field a specially adapted magic 8ball

If a team gets relegated it shouldnt be ruined as a result of it. IMO they should be allowed to carry on with the contracts they have already signed but any new signings/contracts signed should only be allowed if there is an overall reduction that would bring it in line with the salary cap.
