Cc semi moved to red button show for golf over running. Just shows how low down pecking order we are. F**king golf nor even a major tournament. Quicker we dump the bbc the better

Not working for me. I'm on Virgin Media...anyone else having this problem? I just can't see an option to watch it at all.

Sky have shifted SL onto the Red Button in the past when the preceding live programme overan, did you have a rant then?

I'd imagine they're hoping the golf will finish before the game starts, but the bigger question is which f[iu[/ickwit in the BBC scheduled one sporting event to be shown directly after another with the potential to overrun, on the same bloody channel?

Yeah, go to BBC HD Channel and hit the red button. There's an option on the menu for 'Live Golf and Rugby', then there's an option for the Rugby

I haven't 'lost my grip', no my virgin media didn't have an option for rugby.

This is a minor inconvenience at worst. A disgrace would have been the BBC saying something on the lines of RL is crap, heres a repeat of trooping the colour.

Did people honestly expect the BBC to stop showing the golf at it's most crucial moment after 4 days of live coverage to go to the rugby - delusional.

Golf is a major worldwide sport watched by millions, RL isn't so why would they not show the end of the golf?

was the right decision - you don't pay to televise 4 days of a major sporting tournament and then miss the climax - how many times do programmes get altered when a football game goes to extra time for instance?

Can't understand why anyone is complaining about this.

It simply isn't acceptable to cut off the end of any sporting coverage on TV - even if the result is (virtually) assured. The BBC made absolutely the right call, and no live RL was missed as a result.

Escape out of the confines of your own little worlds and consider what you are suggesting here people.

Bad scheduling by the Beeb but it would be ridiculous to switch away from the golf, as rubbish as it is, delayed kick off, a few people missed the build up to the semi, no big deal.

Anyway, come on Huddersfield, all Yorkshire final, lovely!
