Price has made it clear that Latu isn't fit. Gelling is unavailable. Hughes, Ashton and Dean are injurred. That leaves one from Patton, Kibula, Robson, Roebuck and Thewlis. With Daz Clark carrying a knock maybe he needs another dummy half in the 21 (Davis didn't play against Leeds, maybe he's also carrying a knock?)

I'd have thought Davis and Walker would interchange at 9 - unless there is another injury concern.
Possibly an opportunity to add Robson or Roebuck into the 21 as experience even if they don't make the 18

Mamo, Akauola, Clark and one other (possibly Burrell) will make up the bench tonight.

What message does that send to every player in the reserves and academy? Rather than select any of them, The coach would rather pick a player he clearly doesn't rate and has been told to find another club. Madness!
