1. Catalans win the Grand Final at Old Trafford against St Helens by one point (field goal by James Maloney).

2. Toronto Wolfpack wins the Challenge Cup at Wembley against Catalans Dragons by one point. (Sonny Bill Willams is the Lance Todd trophy winner). Though the Wembley attendance is only 58,612 the BBC television audience is a record for the Challenge Cup, and 2.63 million watch the live telecast in Canada, as well as 1.9 million in France, making it the most viewed Challenge Cup in history.

3. Toulouse Olympique wins the Championship final and Million Pound game against Featherstone Rovers by 13 points, to gain promotion to Super League in 2021, replacing Wakefield Trinity.

My number one(1) wish is that the present day Walter Mitty alias jeannie capdoze disappears off here for good never to return.

My number two (2) wish is that he/she is closely followed by stephie curry and all his/her other non de plumes.

My number three(3)wish is that the Canadian side whose name escapes me at the mo, falls flat on it's arris and goes back to where it came from and is replaced by a proper heartland team who is there on merit, and not because of some Aussie with more money than sense wants to play ducks and drakes with our league, if my wishes come true then i will gladly settle for the mighty Trin finishing runners up in SL.

3) England to get rid of Bennet and win the ashes

That RL will finally end a century of closed-mindedness and rejoin the RFU. We need to unify the country after Brexit and rugby (lets have no more 'union' or 'league') can be symbolic of that. Workington Man playing the same game as the middle classes from Bath and Gloucester.

Imagine England winning the next World Cup, with Boris in an England jersey, standing arm in arm with Owen Farrell like Mandela and Francois Pienaar in an iconic image symbolising unity and healing of our nations divisions.

1. The Kangaroos win the Test Series.
2. Manly get to the Finals Series.
3. NSW win the Origin Series.

Ok, my first wish is for the S.L. whipping boy rabble Wakefield to actually get to the final of a major competition, something that hasn’t happened for forty years! If someone had said to me all those years ago that I wouldn’t replicate the experience again, I would have laughed them off the train.

Secondly I would like St Helens to fail to reach the play-offs (you did say wishes) just to watch their over-privileged supporters go into meltdown.

Finally, I would like Catalans & Toronto to be scrapping it out at the bottom of the division with the French going down after another abject performance, this time in West Hull.

1. Warrington to finally win the Grand Final.
2. Toronto to do well, despite the weird hatred of them.
3. Bennett to be replaced by an English coach who actually picks on form and not reputation.

Huddersfield, Wakefield and Salford to be replaced with New York, Ottawa and Toulouse
