Bring back the shoulder charge. Akauola has just shown it can legally be used when you have the ball so even the playing field and allow defenders to use it again.

Nonsense completely different as an attacker your a lot moree vunerable carrying the ball to a shoulder charge than vice versa. Maybe defenders should look to tackle properly first man low second up top??

It was a little bit of a tongue in cheek comment to be honest based on the fact the same guy has knocked about 3 people out with his style of running in recent weeks. He did it to Taylor and I seem to recall somebody else too (maybe Wakey or Cas).

Sorry its just moments like that's j think all fans like to see there's always an ohhhhh from home n away fans when there's a big hit. Don't like to see players carried off and hope he is OK. It's a contact sport and at times players get injured fingers crossed its just being over cautious

We have been terrible. The only crumb of comfort is we are only 4 points down. Warrington have played out of their skin and still haven’t troubled our try line

I think banning the defensive shoulder charge has made ball-carriers too comfortable to lead with the shoulder, safe in the knowledge that it’s not a fair contest. He’d be less likely to do it if he thought Alex Walmsley was going to hunt him down afterwards.
It’s a bit like the automatic red for punching. It’s created players who niggle and employ grubby tactics, safe in the knowledge that they aren’t going to get a good hiding in response. The guy who Garbett flattened in the World Club Challenge was typical of the problem, all too happy to niggle and push and shove knowing that the law protected him, until Garbett decided to teach him a lesson.
I’ll be honest, I think the game was less grubby and there were fewer cheap shots when the potential was there for natural justice. The odd bit of biff was a small price to pay for preventing the kind of stuff that happens these days like attacks to the knees and crusher tackles.

How on earth have the officials missed that forward pass, absolutely shocking.
