| Take Warrington by plenty tonight.
We are without Roberts, Eden, Webster, Gale, Ellis, Watts, McShane and Moors. 8 of not only our first 17 but arguably our first 13.

| Clark try should have been a penalty to Cas, Hill synically stepped over Cas player on the floor before playing the ball to gain a penalty and take him out of the defensive line.

Warrington try just now on the back of a penalty for interference when the Warrington player (Goodwin?) threw himself to the floor and simply let go of the ball AFTER the Cas player had moved away, an absolute disgrace that. Where is the touchie ffs!

| Very well deserved for Cas- their forwards ran rock hard all night and the backs were skilful. Im particularly impressed by Alex Foster who looks a real talent.
Glad Cas won to shut the absolute helmet up in the Warrington crowd who was whistling like a everytime Cas made an error.

| Great performance. To say most Cas fans think we were having a poor season.... We could be 2nd in 2 week.

| Very good game, well done to both sides, such a shame that coaches/players are reliaint on cheating to win points/games. The one with Hill has being picked up in recent times but is again ignored tonight, why? Consistency is more important than the rule itself.

| I said Warrington weren’t as good as people were making out against Wigan and were still an average side and it looks like I was right. I’ve not watched the game but to lose to that Cas team with the injuries they’ve got is very poor. Outstanding win for Cas though given their absentees.

| But we lost on tries scored.... That means Warrington were the better team. Just ask Saints fans from last year's semi.

Nothing crap about Wire tonight, they were just 2nd best by the end.
This isn't going to fit in your black and white (abysmally poor and sensationally superior) World of Ass narrative, so suck it up numbnuts.

Conceding 34 points to a team that had 8 first team players missing and had a man in the sin bin is crap on a whole new level. You can argue otherwise all you like but it does fit my narrative.

| Fantastic victory, made some look silly...... especially the bin dipping scouse idiots who claimed we were a one season wonder. What a race for the top 4 !!!!!! To win without 4 starting half backs is unheard of at this level of super league...... classy Cas are back !!!!

| Looks like all the teams backing up from the cup games last week struggled. wire, leeds and wigan all lost games they'd expect to win, saints eased past hull kr and Hull FC thankfully had the game against salford won at half time so didn't need to worry when their energy levels dropped

Leeds played a championship side who had 12 men for 70 minutes. Plus what about Huddersfield who also played in the cup ? Wigan were barely favourites against wakey + anyone with a brain would probably have backed Wakefield.

| That result shows Cas has some great strength in depth. It's a bee now a reasonably good week for Yorkshire.
On a side note, I notice Powell and that Cas fan who only comes on here to slag refs off are being very quiet about the officiating?

Yet apparently Saints are back? Even though they haven't won a trophy since 2014?

Can't spake for the others but Leeds's race is run for this year and has been for a while. We'll still turn in the odd good result, same as most teams do, but unlike many seasons these won't be in the games that matter. A meaningless (for us) win next week against saints would tick the box.
Not sure that anything can be read into last night's wire - cas game - it was simply too far removed from a high-intensity, low-error fixture to draw any conclusions as to who has the better prospect of silverware.

I said that Saints are back playing well and challenging at the top but nice try. As for Wakefield, well, they were never there in the first place.
