It seems Wigan are the club who are doing the best with season ticket sales. They've sold over 7,500 which isn't bad going at all. I'll be surprised if leeds sell as many as they did for the 2016 season. Hopefully hull will get a few extra buying ST's. Saints sales are well down, Cunningham and he dull tackticzzzzzzzzzzzzzz have driven many fans away. I hope Salford can sell more than they did in the season just gone. I think overall come the end of 2017, the gates will have dropped again.

So the current grand final winners and the biggest name in the game have sold more season tickets than anyone else!

What's the difference between "memberships" and "season tickets"? Is the answer nothing?

Season Pass Members get access to all home Super League and Super 8 matches as well as other benefits such as discounts on Magic Weekend and Grand Final tickets, a fiver off replica shirts. General Members get a discount on matchday prices (about 25%) so are handy for people who live away or aren't able to get to some games. General memberships are £35 for adults and it also includes a stadium tour and various other benefits.

Leeds usually sell around 9,000.

So a significant difference then? Are pass sale numbers alone looking good? After last season they should be up.

We've announced 7000 members but I've no idea what the breakdown is. You'd imagine a large majority will be full season pass holders. It will be interesting to see what happens to our average attendance. We won't have the derby of course following Hull KR's relegation however we got over 17,000 for the Warrington game in the Super 8s this year so the missing supporters will hopefully come out given another successful year.

I bet Toronto sell more than half the Superleague teams.

I've never understood why, in Hull,season ticket are called passes, but anywhere else in the country and, probably the world, they are tickets!

Getting near 20,000 for the round ball game (compared to an average of 12,000 last season) is a big old increase and £120 for a season ticket for the Giants is very cheap, about half of S/T prices elsewhere.

After a poor season last time and a massive squad clear out, it will be an interesting season for you guys.

out of interest our renewal deadline is usually in November but it's Xmas eve this year, we had sold a record amount of season tickets for that date and a quarter of them we're either new or returning ticket holders. not major news but promising after we came bottom.

I got an email from them that said something about season ticket in the subject line but I just deleted it. Could have been same thing.

In fairness, it seems to suggest that I'm getting the email because I went to the England v NZ game. In which case, it's -poor marketing automation / segmentation given that I've filled in more than enough RFL surveys where I tell them I'm a Leeds fan.

I thought this practice was only carried out by Leeds and Bradford, both of whom regularly put up billboard advertising in other clubs' back yards.
I wonder if the RFL have done the same in Cumbria ?

There's a big difference between trying to expand your market, and (presumably paying for) email marketing campaigns to people who you know arr followers of another club (because they told you they are). It's poor use of marketing Intel.

Leeds or Bradford putting billboards in Wakefield is very different - most of the people who see that billboard probably aren't currently RL customers. And there is, of course, nothing to stop Wakefield putting their own billboards up wherever they want.
