| Just had a quick look, breakdown for teams being shown is as below. Only 37 games being shown which is a shame.
Wigan 10
Leeds 9
Saints 9
Warrington 8
Hudds 7
HKR 6
Catalan 4
Cas 4
Hull 3
Bradford 3
Salford 3
London 3
Wakey 2
Widnes 2
Rooster 1
Feel especially sorry for Wakey and Widnes as one of the two games they are on is between each other so they get very little live coverage. In a perfect world all the teams would get reasonably equal coverage but that doesn't make ratings.
One question that comes from it, how much does each team get paid for their live game? If there is a fee for appearances then the likes of those at the top end will be getting financial advantages over the less shown teams, which does seem kind of imbalanced. Maybe there is no payment but I would be surprised if that was the case.

| What about Super League on Thursday nights?
Sky appear to have created a "Phoenix Night" Thursday by pitching Super League against Premier League Darts.
Will the viewing figures for Super League on a Thursday night be adversely affected by this clash given that fans of both those sports share a very similar demographic profile?

| Removing Thursday night games should have been the number one demand before signing the new contract.
That is an awful move. Unfair on the fans, and poor for audiences.

Poor audiences? Most people are sat at home bored of a Thursday night, where as Saturday evening most people are busy enjoying their weekends.

if the lower teams start to win more matches and get in the playoffs or big games then they will get shown more... huddersfield have worked their way up to being shown more now.
dont believe teams get paid money to be on sky sports more, the money is shared out equally from the tv deal amongst each club

One of the matches scheduled is Leeds v London. Even now that has the hallmark of a one sided boring game with lots of points for Leeds, at home.
Surely this isn't the best match that week?
Why did the schedulers not look at the fixture list and plump for a game that week that, on historical basis, offered a better chance of a close fought tie?
The RFL should be sitting down with Sky and working out the schedule, doesn't mean we don't have the bigger teams on less, just the ties shown are all crackers (no offence London but you are on a hiding to nothing, pardon the pun, when you go to Leeds).

you get the closer games in the 2nd half of the season which are shown on sky sports. in theory anyway as they are the games which have more riding or interest in them.
got to have some variety in the first half of the season and show london too

No problem with showing games involving the lower-ranked teams, but why London away to Leeds? Why not a more evenly matched game with both sides having a chance of winning? Having said that, if London win at Leeds I wouldn't want to miss it.

Well unless they're total hypocrites who twist scenarios to suit some pathetic agenda then William Eve & Gutterfax will definitely believe so, yes.
Biggest dedicated sports channel in the country showing RL all day while ignoring the Winter Olympics.
How's that for a WC legacy!

Why would SKY promote anything they don't have the rights to? When did I say they should promote a sport they don't have? More so, other than a nutter on a breakfast tray heading south at 150mph and a few Scottish birds with brooms on an ice-rink with marbles, why would even the BBC want to promote it? If you think Union is elitist, then I'm stunned your working class roots let you even acknowledge the existence of "winter sports"

RLWC Legacy is all around us..........the sport will grow for the next 8 years until the RLWC returns to blighty on the back of the astute business done by Knock-down Nigel et al......I can see SL attendances re-cracking the 10K average again this year and I predict 70,000 people will switch power supply companies, therefore doubling the financial size of the sponsorship deal. I suspect that the top 12 in 2014 will bare little resemblance to the top 12 in 2021.....that's how far reaching this RLWC legacy will prove to be.
Have you seen the lead RL story on the BBC site BTW?....How's that for a lasting legacy

Trying to make predictions instead of dealing in current truths just reinforces the fact you already lost this one. First the World Cup and now this, you're not doing too well really.
Lead story on the BBC is "Super League: Wigan Warriors 8-24 Huddersfield Giants"
Looks good to me
