Make jokes about it on a rl forum and ignore a cancer that needs dealing with quickly before it spreads

I was at the match at Wakefield and the one at the KC. Whilst the number involved at the KC was smaller the faces looked familiar. If it is the same people then there is enough CCTV and photographic evidence to identify them.

They should be banned from all Widnes matches home and away. They are tarnishing the good name of their club and from where I am I cannot seeing the Widnes club taking any action.

I was ashamed of the so called "Wakefield fans" involved in trouble with Widnes fans. At least my club responded strongly and banned these idiots. It sets a benchmark and states that violence in a rugby ground will not be tolerated.

Widnes need to do the same and quickly. If the RFL had half a brain cell between them they would be consulting with the club to stamp this out immediately.

We are supposed to be a family game. All our teams have a small element of morons in their following, however not many clubs have morons who consistently cause trouble at away matches.

Sort it out Widnes and quick. For the good of your club and the good of our game.

We should congratulate them for standing up against the oppressive and sanitised vision, that is, 'the family game'.

It looked that way to me when I saw the trouble at the KC and Belle Vue.

For some reason the Widnes fans who post on RL fans don't talk about it too much. A few that do have highlighted that they have a certain minority in their travelling support who seem to be involved in trouble frequently.

I was at a Leeds away game a couple of years ago and some lads were getting rowdy. The stewards tried and failed, and it took a group of genuine fans to (putting it politely) tell them to shut up before they did. It sounds like a cliche, but these morons respond more to their "own" telling them to get a grip than anything else. Take away the acceptance of their clan, and they have nothing.

I few of them got carted off by Cheshire police so maybe they will have been charged and therefore easily identified by the club. It did look like police actually had batons drawn at one point last night.

Good ban all trouble makers from all teams from all grounds for life, we do not need them but it happens all the time, when I was a young lad and when I got married and had kids it was like it, some Moran would spoil it for others we was always pointing them out to police

At the magic weekend there was a group of young, rather 'vociferous' widnes fans that were barracking a couple of Wire fans, it looked like it was going to turn nasty till the Wire fans moved - i hope the Widnes club stamp this out quickly though, i dont want to read about crowd trouble at RL games - and thats 3 away games in a row i've read about Widnes fans kicking off !

I'd like to know how they have got into the stadium carrying smoke bombs. Surely this is a security issue for Warrington as well as bans from the widnes club?

I'd just like to say that while there are some morons following Widnes, not all of their supporters are bad. I've had probably one of my best memories of opposition fans come from a Widnes Fan at the Premiership final against Bradford in 1989 I think(Hull KR were in the 2nd division final against Oldham and got beat after being 28-4 up). I was only a lad and I was queuing for a drink at half time and a Widnes fan accidentally pushed into me and knocked me over. He not only picked me up and said sorry but he also bought me my drink. That level of behaviour and friendliness is what we should all strive for in our game.
