Think the Broncos need an experienced coach. I'm sure if you read Chelseas,& Man Citys accounts they don't make pleasant reading. Nearly all sporting clubs need a money man to survive. Sporting clubs unfortunately don;t make money.

Halifax made a modest £20k in 2011 too. I think it's just SL clubs that don't make money.

Doncaster have also made a profit over the last two years.

Wakey have recently announced that they have made either £75,000 or £95,000 (I can't remember which it is!) over the last four months, and that was a club that was in administration.

I think a lot of RL's financial troubles are down to mismanagement of the money and resources available.

However, London is complicated by being in London, which is a hotbed of sports all competing for finite resources and airtime/space with expensive property and limited opportunity. Mind you, the Broncos have not been helped by their owner spending to the cap this year but forgetting to replace the coach. Had he replaced the coach with a coach who could actually coach, the Broncos could have been competitive and that might have drawn some fans back again, which would have helped generate some added income to alleviate all the pressures of just being a minority sport in London.
