There are 25 group games and quater final venues have been announced, how many can you get to looking at the fixtures now? Just a rough idea? I reckon I can make 12.
I'm personally going to save up and make a big effort to get to as many as possible.
Can't wait now.
List of the games/venues here:
www.internationalrugbyleague.net ... -announced
Really happy that Leigh got a Tonga game as the town has a bit of a soft spot for the Tongan players we've had over the years, I reckon Rochdale will feel the same too about getting a Fiji game.

| I wish it well, but I'm not going to any games. We know the winners will be either Australia or New Zealand now and most of the games are callable with complete accuracy now. The venues and fixtures are also very unappealing. Throw in the RFL's inability to promote anything (Look at today's farce as an example) and we'll see a repeat of the last tournament in this country. Low crowds, a financial mess and no real benefit for the sport at all.

| I'm going to try and get to at least 2. Here is to hoping the cup winners wont be as predicted. I've been to several international games and enjoy the multi club atmosphere. I just hope the competition gets the promoting it deserves and at least breaks even.

| I can't really see me going to Cardiff. Would have gone to Wembley again or a venue in the north.
It's a shame people aren't giving the tournament a chance already. Yes, the winner will be one of three teams (some will say only two) but it's still watching rugby league so I hope to go to a few. Hopefully there will be a multi-ticket offer to make it more tempting.

| I must be one of only very few people who are excited about the world cup. I will be going to the three games in Hull plus hopefully a few others. Games like Tonga v Cook Islands on the face of it isn't a glamour tie but it will be a close hard fought game with plenty of pride showing

| Ask me again when the ticket prices are announced. If it's cheap enough, I might venture to a few games. England in Cardiff? Depends if I can get cheap rail fares.

| IMO The Millenium Stadium is too big for any of the games, thew will need to cgi the stands to make them look even half full.
Probably going to 3/4 games.

| I intend to come over for part of the tournament, providing I can get time off work.
Some of you are huffing at the fixtures, the venues. OK, they may not be the most appealing but that's no reason to withdraw your support. I'm sure some of the lesser rated teams will put on a great spectacle. I watched Canada, Jamaica, the USA and South Africa play last year and I enjoyed every bloody minute of it. Those boys gave it everything they had as I'm sure the teams competing in this tournament will do.
Just realise how lucky you are to have the World Cup on your doorsteps and get yourselves out there to support the sport you love and the players that are trying to spread the word and grow RL all over the globe.
Rant Over.

The RU and Soccerball world cups involve teams that can't win the tournament, yet the games are sold out. RL is better to watch, and cheaper to watch than both of these sports.

This is hard to argue with.
Unless I win the lottery between now and the World Cup I doubt I will be able to make more than 2 games. God knows why England vs Oz is in Wales. These fixtures are awful for me as I live in the North East.

| I went to two in 2000 and ten in 2008, doubt i'll go to that many in 2013 even with the double headers but it will depend on prices and where I live at the time
I think the tournament structure is wrong, the fixtures shouldn't have been outside England and Wales and there are two many teams
What with the lack of promotion and RLIF/RFL organisation we can expect some poor crowds and loss making, but as usual I will be there to see my dreams crushed, same as every year (except when the Southern Hemisphere decides it wants a year off)

You, and the people that agreed with your post, make me ashamed to be a Rugby League fan
The worst enemy our sport has is its own supporters. Sad but unfortunately very true
