How can Rangi Chase even be considered.

By being one of the best players in the competition?

He's been outstanding!!! Some of his passes he's done this year, only Benki Marshall could pull off

Chase deserves it for playing so well in and carrying a woeful Castleford side.

I feel that some people totally underestimate Rangi Chase, just take a look at his stats on the SL website, then you will understand the amount of work and effort he has put in this season.

If Monaghan goes on to help Warrington win the Grand Final then it will make a mokery of him being excluded.

Chase will win the MOS. Tomkins "V" sign has cost him the prize this year. Roby has been outstanding also but I agree about Monaghan not been included. Strange .

Wouldn't argue if he did win it mate.

He is a class act,simple really.

Agreed and hope that's the case regarding Tomkins, undoubted talent and I enjoy watching him when he's really in the mood but that gesture on national tv should cost him the man of steel.

probably so. But he is apart of Classy Cas. Should we not of lost one of the competition's form forwards at the time, we'd have probably finished a lot higher. Very harsh to call our team woeful, especially when there's many a youngster involved with it, young players who'll more then likely be brandished at international level in years to come. I don't expect you to admit to being a tw@ though, see as you have some bizarre hatred of Cas.

3 worthy winners, Tonkins just shades it for me.

Not really, I love going to Castleford, and I bet not many people would say that. You'll be a better side next year I reckon. Just need to get rid of McGoldrick now.

I hate driving long distances, so I generally let others do the driving or use the train. But If you lot wanted McGoldrick, and he needed a ride, I would be outside his house, with a print off from AA Route Planner, with the directions for London, ready to take him there myself within 10 minutes.

Personally don't get all the hype around Chase. Has some good games but is appalling in others and plays to his own game plan often to the detrement of the team. Hasn't done enough this year to even get a nomination IMO.

Out of the 3 I'd have to go with Tomkins although his form has dipped towards the end of the season. I thought Monaghan would have had a shout at it personally.

For consistency throughout the whole season, workrate & ability to be at the heart of everything his side do, Roby for me.
