If you dont like them leave them alone, I have no problems with them they are playing league get no more money than any other team from SKY/RFL, They dont bring many away supporters but judging by thier crowds us so called traditional teams dont take many to thier place either probabley for the same reason, it is a 400 mile round trip. but its strange that working class soccer suporters from the north have no bother following thier teams all over Europe.
I think its time we spent more on London to give it a kick start,because if they do take off the game will move on to a totaly different footing.

The game should try and become stronger in areas where it is actually popular not where people THINK it should be popular.

But why the hell do you support Quins RL??

Do you enjoy seeing a side that will clearly never win anything?

Do you enjoy paying to travel to the Stoop and sit in a 3/4 empty stadium?


I honestly can't see why ANYONE would go and watch them.

If you like RL then get a Sky sports package and watch the decent games on telly. Or down the pub.

So to Australian standards there would only be 4 teams in the Super League.

There are plenty of smaller clubs in the so called RL 'heartlands'.

Why not try and develop them instead of wasting time and money setting up clubs in areas where it is obvious to anyone that they won't succeed?

Because the NRL realise's what a side like Melbourne brings to a TV bargaining agreement.
Melbourne are a side that's not in Rugby League's heartland (NSW and QLD) and they still manage to attract a season average of over 10,000.

Yes but the Storm are a little different in as much as they have some quality players and they have actually won things... fairly or otherwise.

The juniors are there. Like Melbourne (have a look at where the Storm are coming in the U20's).

The current coach is probably the one to keep there, but get an Australian Defensive Coordinator sort out the defensive defiances (Look at what Nathan Brown's done with Huddersfield).

And who know's it they might push for something.

As I keep telling you PIPPS, its 6 years, ie as long as they have been Quins RL and a bit before.

Before that there was nothing in terms of development, only a first team full of bunch of Aussie backpackers.

One day you will get this simple fact into your thick head.

He is a shocking coach. Even when you factor in how poor the Quins players are.
