What excuses will the RFL bring out today

Why do they need an excuse? It's hardly a derby game is it? Cats take few away fans as is known. Quins are probably down to 2k hard core. Salford's home crowd last week was more or less the same: should they be kicked out? More fools the London public not to have turned up for what sounds like a terrific game.

When do the RFL or Quins ever make excuses.

Yeah the crowd is not good but hey I like to see teams outside the M62 in Super League.

Also Quins are entertaining this year!!

They need an excuse as they have no fans, its a lovely day to go and watch, and they have a catchment area for about 800 square miles. They bring so much to SL its untrue most deserved team to keep I would say!

What a game! Two teams playing some cracking rugby league served up a right Good Friday treat. Trent Robinson has really turned Catalans around.

I want to see them try somewhere further down the country where there is no Rugby heartland, try the new Brighton stadium for instance?

Of the 3 expansion clubs I only feel that Catalans are the club that has worked, and I think they really bring something to the league and year in year out when the sun appears they play a very quick exciting style of Rugby

Catalans play an open French style of rugby league. It's a million miles away from union.

cant remember the guys name who is pumping in the £££ down there, but so long as he is prepared to prop them up and make up the shortfall the crowd is not really an issue for them (see. huddersfield giants).

unfortunately there is no desire to go and watch the quins down there though.

Phipps maybe if you bothered to attend games at the Stoop the crowd would increase just to see a class act, you. Never have I heard such crap from anybody on this site apart from you, get real and crawl back in your hole with your flat earth society. Opps maybe you cannot travel and no more than a keyboard clown with no interest in rugby league.

Phipps is a tool. He has probably waiting with eager anticipation to advise of all of the very predictable poor crowd. He is a seriously sad little man.

Quins are serving up rugby on a par with the awful dross - well defensively at least - that was served up last year. No excuses, poor side, poor crowd, not much more to say.

This might come as a shock, but Twickenham ISN'T full of Union fans........it just happens to have the national Union Stadium and a club, but the majority of the Harlequins Union fans DON'T live in TW2.......traditionally, Quins Union is the club of the "City" boys and their fans are drawn from the Home Counties.
As long as Harlequins RL are being bankrolled then their crowds are an issue for them and them alone........as much as bitter posters from clubs under threat would like to think, crowds are only 1 area under scrutiny for licensing.....along with finances. How do Wakey get on there Tom?
