Not necessarily knocking your post just wonder why you feel the punishment should be -6 rather than -4.

Due to Whitehaven this year and Cougars last year being deducted 9 points (3 wins). Be consistant across the game. If they are deducted 3 wins so should Crusaders.

All any fan asks for is consistency in decisions. The penalty has, in recent seasons, been the equivalent of winning 3 games--so the penalty should have been 6 points. I hope the RFL can explain why its only 4.

Crusaders have benefited by having the standard 3 game deduction reduced by a third. Not as good as the 50% points reduction that saved Wigan from the drop in 2007.

Personally, I think that Crusaders were rushed up to SL and are now paying the price of that rush to expand the game. They'd have done better giving them another 3 years in the championship to build their brand and expand interest in the game into Wales.
