| Will have to see how Roberts does once he's back from Injury, O'Loughlin has been another outstanding performer for us this year.
From other teams, I think Graham might be in with a shot, not sure if anyone at Warrington has been outstanding as i've barely watched them.

I know people like the fact its now voted for by the players, but I i think there should be some sort of weekly points system. At the moment, a guy could play out his skin for the first 8/10ths of the season and then get injured and be nowhere near the prize come awards night.
Is the Dally M medal awarded with a cumulative points system?

the year that James Roby won it, he was awesome for the first half of the year - Barrett was equally good in the 2nd half, so it could have gone either way. Thankfully for Roby, the judges could see past the latest games in deciding the winner.

| Kevin Brown has been class whenever I've seen him so far this season.
Roberts was brilliant before his injury.
Graham will be in with a shout if he keeps up the same form.
Also O'loughlin has had a great start to the season.

| Morley is doing the business yet again. Should have won it last year anyway. Also performing well at the Wire are Matt King and Mick Monaghan.

| I can only really comment on the Saints players as I've not seen enough of the other teams to judge it. A lot of the Wigan performances I've seen for example they seem well organised and grind out results but there aren't many individual performances on show, probably because the team works so well as a unit.
From Saints I think James Roby has hit a good spell and James Graham has been outstanding all season, but then again he has been all through his career so far.

| I'd be looking at closely at Eastmond. I'm struggling to think of a time when he hasn't had a good game this season.

| Tough decision this, there are quite a few players who are in the running for MOS.
IMO you could choose from either Eastmond,Graham,Roby,Pryce for the Saints.
Wigan,O'loughlin,Richards,Tomkins,Roberts.
Wire,Morley,King,Monaghan
Hudd,Brown
That's just a few of the top of my head.

| But lets face it the current system is absolutely farcical. The last true Man of Steel was James Roby, the rest of them have just been given 'Most popular player of the Year' awards.
Lets say for example a Ryan Bailey (Unrealistic I know) or Terry Newton type character were without doubt the standout players in Super League. Those boys have as many haters as John Terry so wouldn't get many votes. The likes of Morley and Hodgson are easy votes because they are 'top blokes' as well as quality players.
I'd also like to know whether the players are given a blank piece of paper and asked to choose or whether they are restricted to a set number that have been shortlisted?

| How popular is Kieron Cunningham with other teams?
He might get a sympathy vote like when the ageing Sean Connery got an Oscar for his 'Irish policeman' in the Untouchables.
Yesh, giv itch to K Shee

| Amos Roberts was a clear favourite after 10 games but now I think its hime and Lockers. Not just saying that as a Wigan fan but together they have take the team to the next level and are the main reason we are top.
I have never really had a problem with just the top teams getting awards like this because they are there for a reason. This year we are a top team and our top players will be up there.
From Warrington Morley has been quality but hasn't been as good as last year IMO but certainly still a contender.
As for Eastmond just like Tomkins, still has a lot more to offer. Young player of the year IMO.
