But thats not the point any player who catches there head on the hip like that, would have the same head injury.

But that Alf injury could happen in either code a scottish boy had a bad one against wales a couple of weeks back and he had to be stretchered of and he had a bad neck injury.

Im glad it wasnt a seriuos injury to the neck or back.

It just a great shame it happened to Alfie on his debut.

Very strange to see him manage the head down run twice. Hard to judge him beyond that really.

Two lessons to be learnt after just one tackle.
1. Don't lead with the head, you'll probably get concussion!
2. Don't use the ball to push yourself up to play it, especially if u think you might be concussed!

Plenty of heart, but way too soon to put the guy in I'm afraid. Think he should have next weekend off and comeback when he's a bit more up to speed.
