And Shaun Lunt is turning into a fantastic player... he wasn't bad last year either

He has it all I think... dynamic runner, good defender, can kick from dummy half and most importantly his distribution is superd

For me, he is the player that Roby promised to be a few seasons back. Don't get me wrong, Roby is a good player but I think Lunt's distribution and other attributes makes him a better 9

Got him from Workington and whoever spotted him did a very good job as he's turned into a cracker.

Lunt better than Roby ?







Before todays game Roby had made 504 metres comapred to Lunts 184 metres. Both playing 4 games.

Come back to me when Lunt can play in a number of positions and still be his teams best player. Some folk on here dont half make me chuckle.

If you read my post again, I said Lunt's attributes make him a better 9 than Roby... I would suggest that makes it irrelevant how many positions Roby can play?

In my opinion, Lunt would make a team go forward better than Roby with his distribution

As I say, Roby is a good player - it's early days but Roby and Lunt as the two English hookers on the fast fields of Australia in the 4 nations is an exciting prospect

Roby is a much better player than Lunt, be that at Hooker or any other position.

I thought they looked impressive, Brown, Lunt and Grix in particular but Wakefield were terrible.

Huddersfield were excellent tonight. Trinity were woeful but you can only play what’s in front of you. They excelled in every aspect of the game aside from goal kicking and on that form are capable of going a long way. Problem is they won’t have many more easier games this season and will come up against much sterner opposition.

Of course it is conceivable that they weren't actually tries.

Saying that i thought we were magnificent tonight but also room for improvement i dont think wakey are a bad side its just we totally hammered them from start to finish. No we lost and no sour grapes, just pointing out the flip side, and plenty of neutral commentaries suggesting aVR might have awarded tries is why I mentioned this, not my own views.

Brown is maturing into a great player but Robinson is still poor imo. Never a SH in a million years.

If they play like that they will, they did it against us too. Forget the opposition, they dominated in every aspect of the game!

How good is Nathan Brown? As it stands, he is by far away the best coach in SL.
