as it is, in this case we have a player who cant get a game in NZ club rugby union signing for Crusaders - hardly inspiring stuff that is likely to bring the crowds flocking to Wrexham.

I travelled to watch Celtic Crusaders, the best part of an hour to Bridgend and will travel 2.5 to Wrexham if that is what it takes to watch rugby league still. Not everyone wants to do that but I want to watch rugby league and will do what it takes. If Crusaders go under I'll go back to watching Saints.

Oh and I forgot I'll watch the Championship 1 team that looks to be taking off down here when I can.

michael witt....rated, over rated or under rated....the fact is he was aiming for all black honours, the heights of rugby union, but instead of giving it a serious go he opted out of union after 7 games and went for rugby league with the superleagues whipping boys. Whichever way one looks at it, he is yet another professional who has chosen the proper code!

Very good signing, was playing very well at the Warriors, strange decision by Ivan Cleary to let Witt go at the end of the 2008 season. I believe Hull were looking into signing Witt this time last year.
