True, but I just think one inexperienced half back is enough. If there were two they would be targeted by the Aussies and I think it's unfair on them, when McGuire is there.

Smith is a shocking international coach. I'm yet to see any evidence to the contrary. He has Roby kicking from hooker when Sinfield, McGuire, Myler and co should be doing that job. He hasn't got the team playing at all well yet in his time in the position and IMO it's no better than before he was there.

I'd like to see fox replace Tom Briscoe. Briscoe is far too good to play in a side that will get hammered by the aussies

I'd probably go the same except Tomkins for Myler and swap Graham for Morley.
Definitely need a bigger bench, hence the 4 forwards.

We need a huge pack because our backs are pretty usless imo. I'd say Shenton would be unlucky miss out on tonights preformence but i want to see Eastmond get 80minutes and he'd cause Justin Hodges as many problems going forward as Hodges would cause him.

Not enough warrington players IMO. Need at least another 3 if we are to challenge the aussies. briers has to be one of them

I'd be happy with that (well, not happy, but it's about as good a squad as we can pick with the dearth of talent in this country at every position apart from prop), if Westwood was out. Not sure who could come in, but I'd probably rather have a blank space on the team sheet than Westwood. Tomkins is close, but as said, two inexperienced halves would be suicide and Myler probably deserves to keep his spot, although I don't think he's good enough to be playing at this level.

I'd have Westwood over Crabtree anyday.

He's a better player, but I'm hoping Big Eorl's hair provokes a bit of laughter in the Aussie line, possibly creating gaps for one of our halves to not quite run into.

Roby played well but he needs to stop kicking from DH. Leave it to Sinfield/McGuire (if the latter plays)

I think that's a good call. I would only change either Eastmond or Tomkins to miss out and have another forward on the bench

Depends if Australia turn up themselves. We'll probably be able to tell tomorrow. If the Kiwis take a hammering, times that by 2 and that's at least what we will lose by.

All this tinkering with the team when the real weak link in the set-up is the coach. How he kept his job after the complete debacle of last year, every bit of which led back to him, is completely beyond me.
