but what's the point of putting Aussie imports into the Welsh team. The idea is to get Welsh players playing, not just to win a game against England.

Could be brutal, the only interest for me is in which bookie puts up a handicap first.

A game against the Scots or Irish might be a more useful stepping stone.

This might be about raising the profile of the game in Wales, but an inevitable drubbing by England B, isn't a brilliant strategy. A Celtic (or even Gaelic in Glasgow or Dublin) select XIII, with a few of the Aussie world cup players would be better preparation for England's 4-nations tilt, too.
