Shenton over atkins, hes a 1 man player, doesnt pass. Senior over Gleeson, been poor most of season.

O'Loughlin is the most over rated player in superleague. There are 4 loose forwards I would select over him

and you'd be wrong.
Id actually select him at 12 tbh and maybe have Burgess at 13, which im pretty sure he's played before

Really does bring it home. Forwards look okay, but the backs are woefully behind the Aussies.

I agree. But Forwards okay aswell, they still aren't as good as the Aussies. I mean when you compare Briscoe to Slater ! Briscoe isn't as good as any of the top 10 aussie fb's.

I'm picking on form, and lately, he's been ripping it up. I assumed that picking it now, we would be picking on current form.

Centres are particularly a worry. Gleeson is more or less a dead cert. But then who? Senior is way past it. Atkins, imo is not good enough, Yeaman is solid but how effective will he be against Australia? Brown has played stand off most of the year. Who else is there? Shenton and Craig Hall are classy players in attack, but would they got found out in defence?

Burgess can kick.

Brown and Atkins would be mine, a strike centre and a classy centre. Inglis often plays a stand-offs role at centre, Brown can do that

How about something different and giving a few young players a go.

Not sure that I'd select Senior "sadly". He's shown some outstanding form this year.

It speaks volumes for the so called "future" of England's three quarter line. Senior has taken both Atkins and Shenton to school in recent months.
