| For what he's achieved with his squad, Nathan Brown must surely be coach of the year?

| Brown has turned Huddersfield into a much stronger more consistent team and could well take the honours, but there are other strong potential contenders out there.
Smith - half a season at Wire probably won't be enough
Kear & Noble - if either side were to make the Grand Final then they could be possibles.
Morgan - like Brown he has turned Hull KR into a strong consitent outfit
But this is RL so place your bets on Potter or McLennan if their teams win the GF.

Don't jest. If Potter can resurrect this Saints side from the depths then he might just deserve it. They've been dire at times this season; even allowing for injuries.

| Think it's between Brown and Morgan for coach of the year. Smith might be in with a chance next year.

| I think what Justin Morgan has done this year has gone a little unnoticed, and I don't know why. To get Rovers from the old NFP up to the top 4 of SL within what....3 years?! Is a magnificent achievement.
They weren't even favourites the year they went up from the NFP either, that itself was an achievement, but they have certainly kicked on.

The fact that Huddersfield have also done so well and indeed reached the cup final has kept Rovers out of the limelight.

| It's Morgan or Brown for my vote. Smith did well to beat Huddersfield in the Challenge Cup final and the game at Hull KR but bar those two results Warrington's results and performances alike have been very inconsistent and little better than Cullen achieved during his time there, despite having a great squad.

I'd find it difficult to argue against that. Huddersfield's form and results this season have been exceptional and I genuinely (honestly) hope that they can maintain their form/results and even improve upon them next season as well.
Having a strong team in the birthplace of Rugby League would be simply magic.

Or Morgan or Kear (conjoured up some fantastic performances earlier on with a decimated team, was it 9/10 first team players out at one point?

I'd wait on that one - I have a feeling he will get a job in a Superleague club soon (backroom).

Not a chance. Quins RL wouldn't touch him as the Union lot want nothing that connects them to the farce that is Bloogate.

I just have this feeling that he's been 'scapegoated' out of Union and he will be looking for a club to get his career back on track so look at Superleague as an option.
Not with Quins although it was my first thought.

With Noble going to Celtic for 2010 according to the Star. Why he'd want to move from SL to an NL2 club I'm not sure.
