Seeing as there are so many Aussies playing over here in the UK I think its time to bring in a few more of our rules seeing as we are the dominant force in world footy.

We already insisted the British game was switched to be played in your summer as opposed to the winter and clearly thats worked well.

The first thing I would like to see brought in is the renaming of positions.

Stand off, scrum half and loose forward should be given their correct names of Five eighth, half back and lock.


I think 2 referees should also be brought into the British game.

We also have to rename some of the teams due to the Animal Rights Activation Groups.

good point i heard the rhinos were to be renamed as there are no thick skinned fat slow moving dull headed beasts with no social grace or conversational skills in their club

case never got to court though.

I think we’ve got just two Australians playing for Leeds Rhinos at the moment in Scott Donald and Danny Buderus. We have a few Nez Zealanders in the shape of Brent Webb, Kylie Leuluai and Ali Lauitiiti. But the rest of its is very English and this is your team residing joint top in the English SL.

St Helens on the other hand only have Matt Gidley and Chris Flannery from Australia. The New Zealanders in the Saints Squad are Francis Meli, Jason Cayless and Tony Puletua.

From where I’m looking this is 4 Australian players in the top two teams in this country. Very dominant Australians are in this league no really!

Still 5 imports each for the top teams is more than enough.
Webb (Webb being an Oz Aborigine) and Cayless may well be Kiwis in the context of Test selections but both were born in Oz and lived the bulk of their lives in Australia.

RL stopped being an english game around the early 80s.

your contribution to the game is nominal, its basically an australian sport.

it would be nice if england could contribute positively towards the sport, but thats at least a decade away

rupert murdoch saved RL in england via the creation of SL and a TV deal worth 80 million pounds or so.

the reason he spent so much money on your game was to get the Pay TV rights back in australia.
