| Just wondering how much you think fans should be charged to watch Rl and what are you paying now.
My feeling is that whatever the price for adults Kids should go free or as near as possible. Kids are the fans and players of the future anmd i tsems nonsensical to have empty seats in a stadium when you can have them full of kids.
At the Giants it is free for all UNDER 11s with a £35 cost if they want to go to all away games
What is it at your ground.

| Junior season tickets for Saints were £45 this season i think BUT the club also did an offer where if you purchased an adult replica shirt you got a free Junior Season ticket.
I do agree with you that it would be great if all clubs could/would allow juniors in for free.

| I'd love to see a SL standard of 15 quid for adults anywhere in the ground and 5 quid for kids. This should make it affordable for most.
likewise I'd like to see $20 for adults and $7 for kids in the NRL. I once paid $45 for an NRl game at SFS for not great seats. Way too much.

Myself and DG were discussing prices of season tickets for kids on the Giants board, and he felt that the £60 at Warrington was too high. My opinion is that at £11 per game, it is a massive saving when the ST includes all home and away games, as well as some cup games, and things like discount in the shop.
I appreciate some clubs feel the need to offer free juniors, but when some clubs are selling thousands of season tickets to juniors, that suggests they don;t need to go free.
Don't forget, these tickets have been built up over the last 15 years, when £10 Junior Season Tickets were introduced. They gradually increased, and led to away games being included. The prices they are at now has been part of a long term strategy, so I do not understand the idea of just now letting all kids in free.
At somehwere like Hudds where crowds have generally been low, and they have a huge stadium to fill, then it is a decent strategy, although I would argue not overly succesful as they have been doing it for years with limited crowds.
Parents expect to pay for their kids now, and £60 for a full season is cracking value.
If somebody attends only home games = £4.60 per game
If somebody attends home and away = £2.30 per game
When you add all the other benefits like the shop discount, Magic Weekend ticket discount and free cup tickets, it works out at about a quid a game.

That's great, kids will be so interested in watching what is basically an amateur league.

| SL should have a kids season ticket like they have in the Co-operative Championships. It's £25 for the season for U16's and it allows them entry to ALL Championship and Championship 1 games, whenever, wherever. There's no restriction on the amount of games they can attend using the ticket.

| I agree with the OP on this, free entry for kids with an adult. Would fill empty seats and increase the future fanbase.
Might work better in the championship leagues where stadiums are working well below capacity.

| Or maybe if warrington average 10,000 in a 13,000 stadium we dont want to start letting all the kids in for newt.
We are a bit overpriced I admit, but the money for all these players like Kings £400,000 a season has to come from somewhere

I think it was around 5 quid in nfp days, 8 quid during sl at widnes when i was younger. Pocket money covered it!
The magic was reaching the adult age and blagging a junior ticket! Still works sometimes at away grounds at the age of 21! (Sorry fax fans )

| I personally think the prices are way to low.
When I decide to go to the one game I attend every year, I don't want to have to kids enjoying the game anywhere near me.
Kids are stupid, a huge waste of money and they take up a seat I could sit a beer on or something.

| Im serious!
You go to a game and you walk through the gates and there is a kid and your like "Oh FFS....".
They ruin everything. Has a kid ever done anything worthwhile at a Rugby League game? No.
Just keep them away. Have a age limit, something like 27. If you are under 27 you don't appreciate the game anyway.

Without kids at games we wouldn't have mascots, then where would the game be?

First thing you have ever posted that I have agreed with. Bravo!
These ideas to let kids in for free are ridiculous. As pointed out, they are still a reasonably important revenue stream and I don't think a parent would choose not to bring their son/daughter to the match because they had to pay an extra £5.
