| Sorry but the match officials performance in the Celtic /Wakey game was at best best appalling and a disgrace.
Now I accept that their decisions are sacrosanct but even I will not defend that!!
That did not do this game of ours any favours at all.
Yes!!! Leaguefan having a go at match officials but that really was bad.
I expect Mr Cummins to say a lot of that was wrong, but I wont hold my breath!!!

| The RFL need to review hometown refs again, and as previously said Alibert should not be allowed to be the video ref.
I've never seen a team have as much bad luck as Celtic had in that game.

| Yep, it felt like any try that the Crusaders would have been chalked off by Mr Alibert.

| Did anyone hear Bentham right on half time of the Hull KR - Warrington game?
He stopped the clock (Clearly heard saying 'Time Off'), with 4 seconds to go, then the hooter went and he blew up for half time. Then when Warrington said he called time off, then he said he didn't. He clearly did.

that was full time, wire packed down bentham signalled "time off" with 4 seconds to go, then the hooter went, was the timekeepers mistake not the match officials

| It was the correct decision by him. He doesn't control timekeeping, the time keepers do, and AFAIK there is nothing in the rules that allows him to overrule them

| I was stunned by some of the decisions made by Thaler on the field and would go as far as saying he has a dislike for Crusaders.
He seems to enjoy upsetting the players and fans alike.
Smug grin on his face all game.
Hope he never refs us again and hope the rfl have a look at the hometown ref thing.
Make no mistake we were $hite but the ref and VR only compounded matters. Once again Thaler was the biggest tw@ out there.

| Thaler is clearly not up to Super League standard, he is incompetent and clearly has a lack of understanding towards the rules. It has been said before.
I await my fine.

| Glad it's not just me who thought he was rubbish then.
It turns out now that his brother is actually a Wakefield fan.
That is a joke in itself and if you are a fan of any other sport looking in you'd find it quite unbelievable.

| I don't have a problem with "home town" match officials.
I still believe that they are neutral regarding games.
But how 6 match officials can perform that badly as they did last night was either a one off, (every team has a bad day) or there are serious problems.
I would prefer to think it was a one off.

So relatives of referees are not allowed to follow a team?

I'm still confused by the decision Albert gave
If it was knocked on in the in goal area it would have been a drop out but still a try due to advantage
If it was a [idouble[/i tackle - Pen defence
If it was knocked on in the field of play - try -advantage gained
I cant see where he got scrum attack from- bizarre
Another one was when the ball was caught in goal having touched another player on route to the catcher but still in the air-Drop out under the sticks
In the Wire game something similar happened and when Briers challenged the decision it was given as a "tap 20".
My final "observation" was the hooter went at 79:30 on the sky clock

he demed the tackel was completed and he then lost the ball hence the scrum just the same as if he had lost the ball when playing the ball the decision was right by the way if he had lost the ball over the line it would have been a drop out most decisions last night were right just coz they are a new team does not mean they can play with a differant set of rules to the rest of us or can they

| I couldn't care less they are new I just felt the decision was bizarre. The player lost the ball ie tried to keep it in the field of play whilst still in motion. You can tell me all you want the ball carrying arm touched the floor but he was still moving hence why the ball continued to travel backwards towards the in goal.
Unusual

You could argue that if the tackle was complete then it should have been a penalty to Wakefield because the Celtic player continued to drag him back towards the in-goal area resulting in the knock-on...
In all honesty though, the referee should have played the advantage and given the try, I don't see how you can argue it any other way
