| Looks like Hull City's chairman has put his foot down and stopped our City getting a R.L. international later this year 
All previous internationals have exceeded 20,000 plus and others have been sell outs.....its not as if Mr Duffen's SMC wouldn't have received a nice tidy sum.  |

there has been no comment from the SMC so far, so i think some fans are jumping the gun with criticism, it could be that the RFL offered a fee that wouldn't make it worthwhile etc. There has been much criticism from both Hull and Rovers fans on this issue, and it really wouldn't do Paul Duffen's popularity in this City much good.

If true it does seem to be the downside of lodging with soccer teams. Wigan having to play a home game 'away' last year and now this. Surely tighter contracts could be drawn up when negotiating leases.

We usually have Wigan, Hull and Huddersfield with an Elland Road final.
May keep Wigan and Hudds for the Australia and New Zealand games and Wire might get the France test. Headingley won't get it if Elland Rd is the final.

If you listened to the hull city fans forum last night you be very well aware of what Rugby League fans mean to Mr Duffen
Lets face it Wigan are premiership soccer team and manage to arrange an international at the JJB and Doncaster share their stadium with a soccer team and also gained an international.
Duffen is Chairman of both Hull City and the Stadium Management Company so in reality its do as i say. |

Yeah in a nutshell - broadcast over the radio.
He is meant to manage the stadium in a fair and un-biased manner and to manage it as a community stadium, which clearly he has no intention of doing |
