Not really.

What we have is a bunch of robots, high on E numbers after drinking copius ammounts of Irn Bru, smashing the bejesus out of each other.

I quite like it personally.

yeh don;t mind the robot intro but would be good for the Sl to have a marketing dept!

NRL ad is pretty good and better than some previous years efforts. Not a fan of teh song but having Bon Jovi is quite a coup.

I find the Ironman/Robot sequence a bit embarrassing to be honest. To me it is almost saying that our players are robots, which in the past has been used as a negative connotation.

But I suppose it was fairly cheap to make. Not that I could do any better mind.

That may be equivalent to what the NRL are paying, but due to the GBP/AUD exchange rate and inflation in this country, its slightly more than a couple of quid.

I love RL......I think the NRL is a great competition, but I doubted the sunstantial financial outlay for this song, the rights to it and the associated promotion would make much difference to the attendances or the profile of the game outside the 2 main playing centres in Australia....I will now be branded a Union Troll

Should have used an Aussie Band like AC DC with a song like "War Machine" or "You shook me all night long" or maybe a song written for the NRL. Bon Jovi are crap and past their sell by date by 15 years.
