Interesting comment Phil Clarke made about stand out half backs playing behind a beaten pack in SL being perfect to play for England against Oz, because it prepares them for being in a similar situation.

No, it's because Myler is a stand out player despite Salford getting beaten.
Burrow, Long et al are used to playing off the front foot and standing out. It's much harder to play off the backfoot and stand out - that's what we need, not some prima dona who disappears as soon as the going gets tough. |

I'm glad he's probably leaving - Salford stole him from Widnes, now someone else will take him from Salford. What comes around goes around, at least Salford will probably end up getting some sort of compensation. From a moral point of view no Salford fan can complain at all if/when Myler decides to move on.
