I suppose the good thing about the cap system is that the level playing field ensures clubs must rely on 'good' recruitment, youth development and coaching, just being rich is not enough (unless your cheating that is).

Hard to understand that but I [ithink[/i you are suggesting that the Allams are behind the take over. If that is the case why didn't the Allams just buy the club? They hardly come across as the shy, retiring types.

Adam Pearson has wanted to invest in a sporting club since he left Derby County. He's said his buy out of Hull FC is nothing to do with Hull City's owners, in fact he never even told them until three days ago.

By the way he and his associate Peter Wilkinson bought Hull City originally for £360,000 and sold them seven years later for £13m. They then invested £3.5m in Derby County.

Yes you must find it hilarious that your local neighbours who are already a big club have been taken over by someone with the drive, ambition and means to make them the biggest club in SL. As for the Allams, i would be slightly more concerned if my club say owed them a million pounds.
