We should win that easily but lots of potential for an upset in that game.

Should be comfortable for you guys to be honest. It will probably get billed as Chester V Kear etc, however we have a very very young squad and will probably finish mid-table in the championship at best.

You guys have a decent SL side with some star quality in Tom Johnstone (what a try he scored at the weekend!) you'll still be far too strong resting a few of the star players to be honest.

Hopefully it will be a decent game and we can give a good account of ourselves and there's a decent crowd for both clubs.

You have to be happy with a home tie against lower league opposition but, as we all saw last season v Leeds, if we are not right on our game, which is a long way from certain, we could come unstuck.
We cant afford to be half cock as we were against KR in the opener this season and at London (twice) last season.
A decent cup run would do wonders for Trinity and reaching Wembley would give our attendances one hell of a boost - I know this wont happen but, it would do more for attendance numbers that any win streak in the league and we're certainly due a cup run

Thanks for the vote of confidence there BM, but many Wakefield fans will remember Wakefield v Leigh, not that long ago - an utter embarrassment - so there's no resting of players for me, and certainly no complacency!

Yep. I'd be very hesitant about over doing the rotation for this one.

Definitely not a game to take lightly.In the CC the name Kear should be ringing alarm bells;the Bulls knocked Leeds out last year at Odsal. Last season we thought we had an easy home game against Widnes,and they gave us one hell of a fright.

Even Bradfords performance in the JJB/Burrow friendly was spirited and would cause us problems if we played like we did vs KR and Cas 2nd half.

Can’t be taken lightly otherwise there’s always a risk of an upset but if we perform anything like we’ll win fairly comfortably.

This could be an excellent opportunity to cover any potential disappointment with a bet on Bradford. No odds yet but possibly 5/1?

I dont want to tempt fete but, Id take your bet at 5/1, they shouldn't get anywhere near us.
The top 5 in the Championship, drawn at home, would all probably give us a good game but, Bradford look to be in some trouble at the wrong end of the table, mind you, Sheffield and York are down there too) and they will be more bothered about retaining their place in the league, than trying to go on a cup run.

That’s right. The bottom three SL clubs plus Toronto knew they would be involved in the fifth round, and a rearrangement of a league fixture would be required.
Just disappointed it’s been arranged for Friday night, call me old fashioned, but why not a Sunday afternoon.

Absolute joke by the RFL and /or SL both us and the Giants were clearly in the cup at this round due to our finishing positions last season how the hell was that weekend not left blank, let me gues no strategic vision or awareness or complete lack of planning another game for re-arranging which was 100% on the cards in any event.
