You're spot on! We pay two guys to mark where a ball goes out of play, it looks like they don't even watch the game! The guy on the same side should have given Bronson Goodwin's try aswel, quite clearly no nead to go to the screen!

If there going to do nothing, get rid of them, have the ref and a screen, there stealing a living at the minute!

I remeber him refereeing down at cougar park a few years ago and he really did have an absolute stinker, it seems laughable that he has now risen through the ranks to be a full time referee in super league and internationals, where his decision making needs to be 100% better and hes still having a stinker.

He's not having a good game at all but I agree with Bilko he's got things wrong both ways.

The 'lying on' problem is partly down to no feedback being given, surrender/dominant. I don't know if this is a change in SL/NRL rules to the international rulebook but it is shocking how many penalties are being given

For those who witnessed the NZ v Australia game and thought it was the best game they had seen for a long time then tonight's performance by Alibert was the worst referreeing display at international level for years.

Those who saw Alibert cut his teeth in the lower leagues knew he wasnt ready for SL never mind internationals. Once again the RFL show us that they will fast track anything whether its good for the game or not.
