Quote ="TrinTrin"I am very sad today, having read all the comments of our seasoned supporters, they have committed to this season, however,
If everything is washed over & all remains the same, then I fear for next season's ticket sales, especially with covid as well !
All of us will drift away as it's not worth the pain - I am a solid 50 yrs supporter, but no improvement & severe change needed is
Not going to happen !
The club is in self denial & I am very, very sad about it all, I am not looking @ or for blame & sacrifice, but something is needed
Drastically to be more professional, it this aspect that I see as a problem as a whole, honesty or man up & supporters will back you.
Wash over it & like a sore, it will get worse !
From a very saddened supporter not looking for name calling ! Just honesty or let go & move on, we cannot survive on this track.'"
We have this every season, a bad game, and a losing run, and at the end of the day it all comes down to finances. The top teams win, because they spend more on quality players, we are unable to match them, and yet some fans of ours want to reduce our finances even more by not purchasing season tickets I do understand how some people feel, goodness knows I’ve felt the same way often enough, but this is not the right way. I don’t know what the answer is, perhaps a different coach, back room staff, but that doesn’t always work, look at Hull as a recent example. As a team we do appear to make the same mistakes most weeks particularly in defence, and I do think we need another defensive coach, but who?. All I can say is I’ll back our club while ever I can. Players come and go, but the club needs fans for life. Like most of you I’ll be disappointed for a few days, but I’ll still be there next week. Chin up folks.
