The 1985 CC final became the 6th time I had been to Wembley and failed to see a Hull win. Enjoyed The Sterling v Kenny clash as during the 80's I went to 5 Aus GF's involving Parramatta when the half back duo were in action.(Parra won 4).
I resolved not to go to the next CC final at Wembley believing my absence may help them over the line(2011). It didn't and I finally saw a Hull win at Wembley when I traveled back to England in 2016 to see them beat Warrington.
