Just seen that Wigan A, have entered Administration, and will de deducted 12 points. With the obvious financial implications for them, I wonder if the Rugby league side will have to tighten its belt.

Why so? They're independent of each other arnt they?

It's not great if the club that you share your ground with and are the major shareholder in the ground (85% Wigan Athletic = 15% local council) goes pop.
You would expect that they will find a buyer but, who knows what the future is for ANY pro sports club, until the fans can get back on board, it's a bloody uncertain future for everyone.

The only link might be that the administrators have taken control of the ground. Selling it probably not an option as who would want it but I guess that they could try to make some extra cash by putting Wigan RL's rent up????
